Celebrating 2024’s Top 50 Most Influential Women in Gaming, Africa: Linda Sekaziga
Linda Mutesi Sekaziga is a distinguished business leader in Uganda’s gaming sector, where she serves as the Chairwoman of the Uganda Bookmakers & Gaming Association and a Director at Top Bet Sports Betting Ltd.
Beyond her impactful role in the gaming industry, Linda is also a multifaceted professional engaged in various aspects of law, arts, and social advocacy. Since January 2022, she has been a Partner at Adalci Advocates in Kampala, where she provides legal counsel with a particular emphasis on social justice. Her legal acumen complements her entrepreneurial spirit as she navigates the dynamic intersections between law and business in Uganda.
Linda’s passion for the arts is evident through her role as Curator for Discover Kampala, a position she has held since January 2022. In this capacity, she actively promotes the city’s rich artistic heritage. Additionally, she has served as Co-Curator for “African Women and Death” since October 2021, highlighting the narratives surrounding African women through thought-provoking art.

In September 2021, she founded the Umutesi Open Library, a vital resource center aimed at promoting literacy and access to information in her community. Her commitment to civic education is further demonstrated by her founding of The Citizen Report Uganda in January 2021, a platform dedicated to fostering informed citizenship among Ugandans.
Since January 2019, Linda has also been the Chairperson of the Board at 32 Degrees East | Uganda Arts Trust, where she works to support and nurture Ugandan artists. She is particularly enthusiastic about the upcoming development of the 32 Degrees Art Centre in Kabalagala, a groundbreaking project that will utilize rammed earth construction techniques, making it a landmark in sustainable architecture within the city.
Through her diverse and impactful roles, Linda Mutesi Sekaziga continues to make significant contributions to the gaming, legal, cultural, and educational sectors in Uganda, showcasing her versatile leadership and passion for progress.
