Klaire Muriithi is a prominent Kenyan brand strategist, recognized as a driving force in the realm of brand development and marketing throughout Africa. Her career spans over a decade, focusing on cultivating local brands that can flourish and compete on an international stage. Based in Nairobi County, Kenya, Klaire has made significant strides within various industries, particularly in the gaming sector and sports betting niche, where she has established herself as a knowledgeable consultant.

Born and raised in Nairobi, Klaire’s passion for marketing and brand management was ignited during her formative years. She pursued a Bachelor of Commerce with a marketing major at Kenyatta University, graduating in 2009. Driven by a desire to excel in business, she furthered her education by enrolling in a Master of Business Administration (MBA) program at the United States International University – Africa, where she is expected to graduate in 2025. Klaire’s career began in the fast-paced environment of British American Tobacco as a Trade Marketing Representative, where she led strategic initiatives to secure market share across East and Central Africa. She then transitioned to The Coca-Cola Company, where her creativity shone through groundbreaking campaigns like the “Share a Coke” initiative.

Her innovative approach to brand management caught the attention of Safaricom PLC, where she held several senior positions over three years. From launching high-value products to spearheading effective marketing communications, Klaire consistently delivered impressive revenue growth and brand loyalty.

In recent years, Klaire Muriithi has pivoted her focus to the burgeoning sector of iGaming and sports betting. From June 2021 to March 2022, she served as the Head of Marketing at BetKing, where she honed her expertise in the digital gaming landscape. Under her leadership, BetKing executed integrated marketing campaigns that enhanced brand visibility and attracted a diverse customer base. This experience solidified her position as a key player in the gaming industry across Africa, allowing her to influence best practices and strategic growth in this space.

After her tenure at BetKing, Klaire took on the role of KE Trade Lead at KingMakers, where she crafted innovative marketing strategies tailored to the Kenyan market. She assessed consumer behavior and positioned the brand competitively against rivals, further solidifying her impact in the gaming sector. In May 2023, she began working as a Brand & Marketing Consultant for Little App Kenya, where she leverages her extensive experience to provide consulting services that merge modern marketing strategies with the dynamic needs of the iGaming sector.

Klaire embodies a unique vision, believing that African brands can stand toe-to-toe with global counterparts. Her mantra, “There is no time better than the present,” encapsulates her belief in harnessing the continent’s burgeoning market opportunities to create memorable brands. She champions the concept of leveraging local culture and identity to build authentic connections with consumers, ensuring that brands resonate on a personal level.
