Shabiki.Com Donates 45 Water Tanks to Schools and Churches in Kenya
In a bid to support communities during the long rainy season, Shabiki.Com has donated forty-five 10,000 liter water tanks to schools and churches across the country.
This initiative is part of the company’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program aimed at promoting water conservation and sustainability.
The donation, which was flagged off by Shabiki.Com Director Fred Afune, Poa Tank CEO Raju Patel, and BCLB Chair Dr. Jane Makau in Mlolongo area, is set to benefit communities in 17 counties across the country. The event was also attended by BCLB CEO Peter Mbugi and other directors of the board.
During the flag-off ceremony, Afune . He stated, “Drinking water is a fundamental right that every child should have access to and we believe it is crucial for us to support communities that we do business in.
“We are not only ensuring that students have clean drinking water but also encouraging a healthier and more productive learning environment.”
Raju Patel, Poa Tank CEO, emphasized the importance of harvesting water during the rainy season. “It is good for us to look at the good side of these rains, and this partnership epitomizes it. The water harvested here will go a long way toward supporting children in the beneficiary schools.”

The tanks, each with a capacity of 10,000 litres, will provide a sustainable water source for the recipient schools and churches, ensuring that they have access to clean water throughout the year.
