Sandisiwe Bhengu is a distinguished professional in the online gaming and operations management sectors, currently serving as the General Manager of Operations for Emerging Markets at Betika.com. Based in the vibrant Durban Metropolitan Area, she has cultivated a robust operational framework that fosters excellence and innovation within the pan-African bookmaker.

With a career spanning over a decade, Sandisiwe specializes in enhancing customer satisfaction and driving business growth through strategic thinking, marketing communications, and brand awareness. Her educational foundation includes a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) from the Management College of Southern Africa (MANCOSA) and a BA Degree in Brand Communication from Vega School.

In her current role at Betika, which she assumed in May 2023, Sandisiwe is at the forefront of coordinating online gaming operations across emerging markets in Africa. Her leadership has been instrumental in optimizing operational processes and identifying commercially viable opportunities for business expansion. Prior to joining Betika, she honed her skills at Hollywoodbets, where she spent nearly eight years. There, she ascended the ranks to serve as the Head of Operations for Africa, as well as managing aspects of the commercial sector and overseeing a diverse sales team. Her responsibilities included resource management, performance reviews, and strategic training—all essential elements in driving operational success.

These positions laid the groundwork for her strong proficiency in marketing communications and brand strategy.

Her ability to integrate her marketing experience into operational strategies has set her apart in a competitive industry. As she continues to lead and innovate at Betika, Sandisiwe Bhengu stands as a testament to the impact of strategic thinking and effective leadership in the ever-evolving landscape of online gaming and business management in Africa.
