Though he acknowledged the struggles that operators have faced, he emphasized the resilience and creativity within the industry. “A lot of operators are seeing the struggle and, well, in as much as the experience is solid, at the same time it’s been a bit topsy-turvy this year,” Ogunfuye noted. However, he reassured that the year has still yielded positive outcomes. “It’s been a good run. Operators have really developed new ideas, new games. Crash games have done well this year, so at least on that end the operators are doing fine.”
As for service providers, Ogunfuye observed that the influx of new businesses into the market has fostered collaboration. “A lot of them have come in and they’ve been able to meet with these new businesses, been able to create strategic partnerships,” he said, encapsulating the cooperative spirit that is characterizing the industry.
