LONASE Hosts Niger Lottery for Knowledge Exchange

Senegal’s national lottery operator, Loterie Nationale Sénégalaise (LONASE), recently hosted a delegation from Niger’s Loterie Nationale du Niger (LONANI) to share experiences, exchange operational ideas, and discuss best practices for strengthening African lotteries.

Held on 19 October, the working visit brought together Abdourahmane Baldé, Director General of LONASE, and Colonel-Major Soumana Djibo, Director General of LONANI, alongside senior managers and delegates from both institutions.

The discussions focused on ways to improve services, performance, and future development. Key topics included digital transformation, particularly the expansion of secure digital lottery sales, sports betting oversight, including governance, integrity, and regulation, and operational practices to strengthen institutional efficiency.
