LONACI Launches AWPB 2026-2030 with Focus on 2035 Vision

The National Lottery of Côte d’Ivoire (LONACI) officially kicked off its strategic planning work for the development of the Annual Work Plan and Budget (AWPB) 2026-2030, framed within its broader 2035 perspective, on Monday, November 17, 2025. The event took place at Assoyam Beach in Grand-Bassam and brought together senior management, departmental leaders, regional agency representatives, as well as stakeholders from the LONACI Foundation and the Awalé Mutual Insurance Company.

Opening the session, LONACI’s General Manager, Mr. Dramane Coulibaly, highlighted the importance of proactive planning to anticipate sector changes and enhance overall organizational performance. He outlined that the new planning cycle is focused on consolidating achievements, accelerating innovation, improving governance, and strengthening LONACI’s social impact across the country.

“The 2026-2030 period represents a pivotal strategic milestone,” Mr. Coulibaly said. “LONACI must remain proactive, modern, and rigorous to maintain public trust and adapt to market developments. Our vision for 2035 is clear: to establish LONACI as a regional leader serving communities effectively.”

The Head of the Independent Planning and Monitoring & Evaluation Department presented methodological guidelines that will guide the development of the 2026-2030 AWPB. Key priorities include:

  • Establishing precise, aligned performance indicators,
  • Harmonizing reporting across directorates and regional offices,
  • Strengthening monitoring tools for improved plan implementation,
  • Increasing coordination between organizational entities.

She stressed that the success of the planning cycle relies on LONACI’s capacity to continuously measure, adjust, and improve its actions, particularly in alignment with the Performance Contract.

The Marketing Director also outlined his department’s strategic priorities for the coming years, emphasizing the need to:

  • Launch products that meet players’ evolving expectations,
  • Introduce technological innovations to modernize the customer experience,
  • Expand digitalization of services,
  • Increase LONACI’s presence across the country,
  • Revamp communications to engage new audiences.

He noted that the 2026-2030 period offers an opportunity for LONACI to provide more modern, accessible, and attractive products and services, while maintaining high standards of responsibility.

The planning day, characterized by interactive discussions and thematic workshops, resulted in a consolidated operational framework. Each department now leaves with a clear roadmap that aligns with LONACI’s long-term vision, setting the stage for the company’s continued growth and innovation.
