NWGB Participates in 2026 Zenzele Youth Entrepreneurship Tour to Promote Youth Development
The North West Gambling Board (NWGB) participated in the 2026 Zenzele Youth Entrepreneurship Tour, demonstrating a strong commitment to youth development and responsible decision-making.
The tour was hosted by the Youth for Africa and Enterprise Initiative (YAEI) and Absa at the North-West University (NWU) Potchefstroom Campus. This regional initiative was delivered in close collaboration with provincial entities, including DEDECT, the North West Development Corporation (NWDC), and NWU.
The tour brought together students, emerging young entrepreneurs, and regional stakeholders across the North West. Its core mission is to promote employability, entrepreneurship, and youth development by providing practical knowledge, technical skills, and real-world opportunities.

MEC, responsible for DEDECT, Bitsa Lenkopane, emphasized that their certificates reflect discipline, commitment, and dedication. Graduates were encouraged to view challenges and business adaptation not as setbacks or failures, but as essential steps in their ongoing growth as entrepreneurs.
By offering young leaders across the North West the necessary skills and support, the program aims to ensure they are equipped to make valuable contributions to the economy and to build a sustainable future.
