Three more legendary names from the football world will join Betora at SBC Summit Lisbon. 

We already shared the exciting news that Christian Karembeu and Claude Makélélé will be at Betora Stand C203 during the SBC Summit. Now, three more football legends are joining the company in Lisbon. 

But their presence is part of a much bigger story. 

At SBC Summit Lisbon, Betora will present the technology and business philosophy behind a platform built to give operators greater control over how they build, launch and scale their businesses.

Giorgos Karagounis 

One of the most renowned names in Greek football, Karagounis also has a special connection with Lisbon.

A UEFA Euro 2004 champion with Greece, he returned to the Portuguese capital in 2005 to join Benfica – just one year after lifting the European Championship trophy with Greece at the Estádio da Luz. 

Now, Karagounis returns to Lisbon once again – this time as a partner of Betora. Ludovic Giuly

Known for his speed, technical ability and attacking creativity, Ludovic Giuly competed at the highest level of European football throughout an impressive career. 

Among his standout achievements was winning the UEFA Champions League with FC Barcelona in 2006, alongside domestic titles in both France and Spain. 

Robert Pirès 

A key figure of Arsenal’s legendary “Invincibles” team, Robert Pirès was part of one of the most iconic eras in Premier League history. 

During his time with Arsenal, he won two Premier League titles and three FA Cups. On the international stage, Pirès was part of France’s golden generation, winning the 1998 FIFA World Cup and UEFA Euro 2000. 

Together with Christian Karembeu and Claude Makélélé, the three legends form an exceptional group of football icons joining Betora in Lisbon. 

Their careers represent excellence, consistency and performance at the highest level – values that closely reflect the philosophy behind Betora. 

But the SBC Summit is ultimately about business.
