NOVOMATIC Restructures its Africa Management Unit

NOVOMATIC, a provider of gaming technology, has unveiled a new management structure for its Africa division set to start operations on 1st August.

According to the company, Sonya Nikolova, one of its board members and the main force behind the expansion of the company in South Africa, will return to Europe. Nikolova will join the main company in a new global sales position at NOVOMATIC’s Austrian headquarters after leaving the African unit.

Alexander Merwald and Muriel Loftie-Eaton will continue to serve on the board of directors of NOVOMATIC Africa in their current capacities. Loftie-Eaton will work alongside Merwald at NOVOMATIC South Africa as managing director.

The managing director of NOVOMATIC Africa will be Chantel Crossley. Additionally, Crossley will work alongside Merwald as the MD co-leading the organization’s operations in Eswatini.

Crossley shared her excitement about working with NOVOMATIC in a message on her new position. The appointee expressed her enthusiasm for joining one of the biggest global integrated gaming firms and said she was looking forward to supporting NOVOMATIC’s local expansion.

Merwald emphasized how happy he and Loftie-Eaton were to have Crossley aboard. He expressed his excitement to work with her and that of his team in welcoming her to the NOVOMATIC Africa Group as MD.
