There’s no denying that Africa has a lot of potential for esports, and a number of things make this growing market appealing. First of all, more than half of Africans are under the age of 25, making this continent a youthful and growing population. Digital Afrique Telecom Clipfeed

Second, more and more Africans are getting internet connection; in 2022, over 500 million Africans had access to the internet; by 2025, that figure is predicted to reach 1 billion.

Lastly, Africa’s rich tradition of gaming and rivalry has fostered the development of esports.

Thanks to DAT and Clipfeed’s cooperation development, Africa could become a thriving esports hotspot, providing a youthful and connected populace with access to exciting esports competitions and content.

Mobile operators on the continent are well-positioned to take advantage of this remarkable opportunity, aiming to take the esports community in Africa to new heights with their flagship product, the Africa Gaming Box.
