Exclusive: Kai Manyeh on Driving Affiliate Success in Africa with RavenTrack Ahead of iGB London
Can you tell us a bit about your role at RavenTrack and what drew you to the iGaming industry?
Kai Manyeh: I work closely with our clients to ensure they absolutely get the most out of the RavenTrack platform. As Head of Account Management, my role goes beyond day-to-day support. I lead a team that’s dedicated to fully equipping our clients with the tools, training, and ongoing guidance they need to succeed. From onboarding to optimisation, we make sure every operator and affiliate knows how to use the platform to its full potential.
What initially drew me to the iGaming industry was it’s fast-paced, constantly evolving nature. There’s always something new happening; new technologies, new markets, and new challenges. The combination of data, technology, and global dynamics really appealed to me, and RavenTrack offered a front-row seat to it all. It’s a space where innovation happens quickly, and you have the chance to make a real impact. That’s what continues to drive me every day.
What unique challenges or opportunities have you seen in the African iGaming space?
Kai Manyeh: Africa is incredibly diverse, and that’s both the challenge and the opportunity. You’re dealing with different regulations, payment systems, and player behaviours from country to country. But that also means there’s room for tailored solutions and rapid growth. We’ve seen amazing progress from operators who are innovating for local markets.
How is RavenTrack positioned to support operators or affiliates across the African market?
Kai Manyeh: RavenTrack is built to be flexible, and that’s exactly what’s needed in Africa. We support local currencies, mobile-first tracking, and even offline methods like promo codes and QR codes. These tools are especially useful in markets where affiliates are promoting offers through social media, shops, or even word of mouth. With over 40 brands in the region using our platform, we’ve built up real insight into what works.
From your perspective, what sets RavenTrack apart in the performance marketing space?
Kai Manyeh: It’s a combination of adaptability and service. We don’t just provide a one-size-fits-all tool, we listen to what clients need and build around that. Whether it’s creating flexible commission models, offering better fraud protection, or introducing offline tracking, we’re constantly evolving based on real-world feedback.
Are there any recent features or platform updates you’re especially proud of?
Kai Manyeh: Yes, our offline tracking tools stand out. Features like promo code and QR code tracking have been huge, especially in markets where affiliates don’t always rely on clickable links. These tools ensure that affiliates get credit for their efforts, even when the customer journey starts offline.
RavenTrack is heading to iGB London — what are you most looking forward to at the event?
Kai Manyeh: iGB London is always a highlight. I’m looking forward to catching up with existing clients and meeting new partners. It’s a great place to exchange ideas, spot trends, and get inspired by what others in the space are doing.
How important are global events like iGB London for connecting with the wider industry?
Kai Manyeh: They’re vital. These events give us a chance to connect beyond email and Zoom calls to actually understand what’s driving people and their businesses. It’s also a great opportunity to showcase what we’ve been working on and get immediate feedback from the people who matter most.
