FL Entertainment To Expand in Africa after ‘Record’ Revenue Jump
FL Entertainment’s online sports betting and gaming division delivered an 18.9 per cent revenue increase in 2023.The group said revenue of €996m reflected a “record year” and “solid growth across all segments,” pointing to further potential across Africa.
Q4 revenues for the Betclic owner were up 13.1 per cent year-on-year, underpinned by “a combination of ongoing strong momentum from UAP (+23 per cent in 2023) with a good retention of players from the FIFA World Cup, and an excellent commercial Development.”
Sportsbook revenue rose 13.9 per cent while online casino, poker and turf posted revenue growth of 39.3 per cent.

Overall revenue for FL Entertainment, which also owns TV production company Banijay, climbed 13.8 per cent to €4.5bn, with adjusted EBITDA up 15 per cent to €756m pro-forma
