Lagos State Lotteries and Gaming Authority (LSLGA) Refutes Circulating False Blacklist Reports
15/09/2025 – The attention of the Lagos State Lotteries and Gaming Authority (LSLGA) has been drawn to certain online publications falsely claiming that the Authority has blacklisted several betting operators in Nigeria. These publications, including those appearing on e-playafrica.com, telecomasia.net, and africangambit.com, are not only misleading but also grossly inaccurate.
LSLGA categorically distances itself from these reports and wishes to state clearly that the information contained therein does not reflect the true regulatory position of the Authority. The purported “blacklist” in circulation is outdated, and several of the operators mentioned have since regularised their positions with the Authority and are duly licensed to operate within Lagos State.

We urge members of the public, stakeholders, and industry players to disregard unsubstantiated news from unofficial sources and rely solely on the Authority’s official communication channels for verified information.
The LSLGA remains committed to protecting the integrity of the Lagos gaming environment, ensuring compliance among operators, and safeguarding the interests of the public.
