National Lottery of Benin Approves Gross Dividend of 3.438 Billion FCFA for 2025 Financial Year

The National Lottery of Benin (LNB SA) has approved a total gross dividend of 3.438 billion FCFA for the 2025 financial year. Shareholders will receive a gross dividend of 173 FCFA, or 164 FCFA net per share.
On June 30th, 2026, the National Lottery of Benin (LNB SA) held the Ordinary General Assembly at the Cotonou Convention Center. During the meeting, shareholders approved the 2025 financial statements and adopted key resolutions concerning the company’s governance and future development prospects, outlining a bold path for growth.
A key outcome of the assembly was the approval of the gross dividend payout of 3.438 billion FCFA for the 2025 fiscal year. Shareholders will receive a unit dividend of 173 FCFA gross (164 FCFA net) per share.

This payout reflects the company’s commitment to creating sustainable value for its investors while consolidating its internal financial strength. The scale of this success is highlighted by the company’s remarkable growth in turnover, which has surged from approximately 10 billion to over 100 billion FCFA.
To maintain this momentum, Managing Director Marius Adanzounon unveiled an ambitious strategic roadmap aimed at securing long-term, sustainable growth. This plan is built upon four primary pillars including, digital transformation, focused on accelerating the integration of modern technologies into operations, network expansion, aimed at increasing the reach of the company’s distribution channels, profitability, through measures to improve overall financial efficiency, and lastly customer engagement, focused on building closer, more effective relationships with the customer base.
He stated: “Our ambition is to become the leader in lottery and betting games in Francophone Africa.”
Ms. Sarah Bénédicte Kpénou, Chair of the Board of Directors, conveyed a message of strong confidence in the company’s trajectory. She emphasized the inherent profitability and sustainability of the lottery industry as a foundation for continued investment. Furthermore, she noted that the performance targets set for 2027 are designed to further reinforce shareholder trust and strengthen LNB SA’s position in the market.
