SOFTSWISS Sportsbook Adds Fiat Display for Crypto and Lite Mode for Mobile
Malta, 22 June 2026 – SOFTSWISS, a global iGaming software provider, has added two new features to its Sportsbook: Fiat Display for cryptocurrency balances and Lite Mode for the mobile application. The updates aim to make sports betting easier for crypto players and improve app performance in regions with unstable mobile internet.
Cryptocurrency players can now choose to view their balances, bet amounts, and potential winnings in a fiat currency of their choice. The feature changes only how values appear on screen. Players continue to place bets in cryptocurrency, while back-office reporting remains unchanged.
The selected exchange rate appears in the site header and updates automatically every 10 minutes. Operators can configure the feature through the SOFTSWISS Sportsbook CMS and choose which fiat currencies are available to players.
This addresses a common friction point for crypto users: understanding bet value. By displaying cryptocurrency holdings in familiar fiat amounts, players can assess bet sizes and potential returns more intuitively, improving the clarity of their betting decisions.
The second update, Lite Mode, is aimed at players with slow or unstable connections. When enabled, it loads core sportsbook features with simplified visuals and less background activity. Key screens open faster, and the betting experience stays functional in conditions where the standard version would stall.
Lite Mode is particularly valuable in regions where network infrastructure remains inconsistent, ensuring operators can maintain engagement and convert player interest even in challenging connectivity environments.
