David Mwenge Nyantora (27) correctly predicted all 13/13 matches in the Super Jackpot and walked away with 265,780,681 TZS. Additionally, more than 8,700 winners were also awarded a total of 1.028 billion TZS.
Dar es Salaam. 15 February, 2024. The Sports and Entertainment Betting Company SportPesa has announced the winner of the Jackpot of 265,780,681 TZS, David Mwenge Nyantora (27).
David, who is a businessman, correctly predicted all 13 out of 13 matches in the Super Jackpot, which has a division of Jackpots for matches 17, 16, 15, 14, and 13, with David being the winner.
Announcing the winner of the tenth phase, SportPesa Board of Directors Chairperson Tarimba Abbas started by congratulating David on his win and becoming a new millionaire in town. “On behalf of the company, I am very pleased to announce to you, David Mwenge Nyantora, as the official winner of our 13-match Super Jackpot, winning 265,780,681 TZS. It has been about 11 months since we announced the last winner of the SuperJackpot for these 13 matches, making this the second phase to have a SuperJackpot winner since its inception.This is a historic moment for a betting company to have more than 10 Jackpot winners and to announce them for 6 consecutive years. This week’s Super Jackpot has been able to award 8,708 bonus winners, with a total of over 756 million TZS in bonuses awarded.”

Speaking at the special event held at the Serena Hotel in Dar-Es-Salaam, David said he started playing with SportPesa in 2018, after learning about it through reading newspapers.
David said,“I started playing SportPesa in 2018, after learning about it through reading newspapers, because of the convenience SportPesa provides by listing the teams you can choose from, so I decided to join and start betting. I have been participating regularly and winning various amounts of money, but this is the first time I have won such a large amount like this through the 13-team Super Jackpot, which includes 17 teams. I usually create my bet slip by spending three days selecting teams, and often I play two to three bet slips, although for this Jackpot I placed only one bet slip. I did not expect to win such a large amount of money, so I cannot say what I will do with it now. I need to first calm down and make decisions on whether to invest in a business or buy a house for my family because I live with my one child and some relatives.”
Talking about his Super Jackpot bet slip, David said: “I have a habit of following the Super Jackpot matches and when I won, I was following the Atalanta game, we were in disbelief and had to check twice, but when we received the SMS, we knew it was true and there was great joy to the extent that we could not sleep at night,”
