MultiChoice Kenya has announced significant price cuts on its DStv and GOtv decoders and installation accessories, with discounts reaching up to 30%. The move, aimed at making its pay-TV services more affordable for households, comes just in time for the festive season.
Under the new pricing, the DStv Zapper decoder now costs KES 850, down from KES 1,199, while the GOtv decoder has dropped to KES 799 from KES 999. Customers will also benefit from reduced prices on installation equipment — the DStv Dish Kit is now KES 1,650 (previously KES 2,000) and the GOtv Antenna goes for KES 700, reduced from KES 1,000.
GOtv subscribers can also access the GOtv Value Package at a lower rate of KES 599. All the offers are available across Kenya at MultiChoice service centers, authorized dealers, and retail outlets. However, the discounted rates are valid only until December 31, 2025.

Commenting on the campaign, Nzola Miranda, Managing Director of MultiChoice Kenya, said: “This festive season, we are turning every moment into a celebration by making it easier for families to connect with the content they love. These offers are our way of saying thank you to our customers for their loyalty and trust, while inviting new customers to join our growing family.”
The announcement comes shortly after MultiChoice officially came under the control of French media powerhouse Canal+, which now holds 94.39% of the company’s shares. The transaction marks the largest acquisition in Canal+’s history and solidifies its influence in Africa’s broadcasting landscape.
