Yudi Soetjiptadi Reflections on a Successful Sports Betting West Africa (SBWA+) Event in Ghana

In a recent interview with iGaming AFRIKA, Yudi Soetjiptadi shared his thoughts on the successful conclusion of the Sports Betting West Africa (SBWA+) event held in Ghana, emphasizing the positive experiences and future goals for the conference.

Soetjiptadi highlighted the importance of community and collaboration during his time in Accra. “Ghana has been wonderful to us, very hospitable,” Soetjiptadi stated, expressing gratitude towards local organizers.

He specifically thanked the Gaming Commission of Ghana and the Ghana Association of Sports Betting Operators (GASBO) for their support. “We would like to thank the Gaming Commission of Ghana for their support in making sure that this is a successful event,” he remarked.

The feedback from participants has been encouraging, prompting Soetjiptadi to look ahead to future events. “We will definitely be back again here same time next year and it will be much better,” he assured, indicating that planning for next year’s conference is already underway.

Yudi Soetjiptadi also mentioned discussions with key stakeholders aimed at enhancing the program. “We will start working on developing the agenda, the program to create more awareness,” he noted, reflecting a desire for broader participation.

Lastly, he didn’t shy away from commending the efforts of iGaming AFRIKA in the industry, saying, “I think you guys are doing a great job in ensuring the continuity of the progress for the gaming industry in Africa.”
