CAF Eject Gor Mahia From Champion League
Gor Mahia, the 20 times Kenya league champions have been expelled from the CAF Champions League for not meeting the club licensing rules.
CAF concluded Gor Mahia did not have a valid license and did not provide financial guarantees to three players who are yet to be paid their dues. Understandably, CAF requests FKF Chairman to revoke the club license.
This emerges as three former Gor Mahia players reported the team to FIFA Disputes Resolution Chamber on their pending salary arrears and fines from the termination of their contracts. These players are Adama Keita, Jules Ulimwengu, and Yangayay Sando Sando.

Also, Gor Mahia could be subjected to other fines based on a decision that will be made by CAF disciplinary committee.
Now it is to wait to see if Tusker who finished second place after Gor Mahia could take the slot in the champions league slated for 22nd Friday July. Also, Tusker poses a clean bill of health in regard to club licensing.
