Global Lab Partners Lagos State Lotteries and Gaming Authority

Global Lab has announced a historic partnership with the Lagos State Lotteries and Gaming Authority at the just concluded GTSA event in Nairobi Kenya.

During the event, the CEO of Nigeria’s gaming regulatory authority, Mr. Bashir Are, confirmed the collaboration with Global Lab. Taking the advantage of more than 25 regulatory and authority leaders from across the continent to announce the opportunity. This collaboration marks a transformative moment for the future of gaming regulation across Africa.

Under the agreement, Global Lab has been designated as the official Technical Body and Exclusive Certification Laboratory for the regulator. Reinforcing the firms growing role in shaping regulatory excellence and technological advancement within Africa’s gaming industry.

The Impact of the Partnership!

This collaboration represents the beginning of a broader transformation aimed at modernizing gaming oversight across the continent. Global Lab will implement a comprehensive regulatory and technological ecosystem designed to strengthen transparency, improve operational efficiency, and enhance regulatory supervision. The framework is also intended to serve as a scalable model for regulators throughout Africa.

Working closely alongside the regulator, Global Lab will contribute to the development of the new “GLA STANDARD”, an advanced regulatory and technical framework. The framework will unify and elevate certification and compliance processes across African markets.

The initiative is focused on harmonizing regulatory standards, improving the global reputation of Africa’s gaming sector. It will deliver greater value for governments and operators. As well as enhance player protection through world-class auditing, testing, and compliance systems.

This new ecosystem positions Africa at the forefront of modern gaming regulation while creating a stronger, more transparent, and innovation-driven industry environment.

Speaking on the milestone, Global Lab CEO Maurizio Soccodato described the agreement as the beginning of a much larger vision for the future of compliance and regulatory technology.

“This marks the start of a major transformation in the industry. We are building a new path for regulatory innovation and technological excellence, and this is only the beginning,” he stated.

Global Lab also extended its appreciation to the Nigerian regulator and the institutional leaders present at GTSA for supporting a shared vision centered on integrity, innovation, and sustainable industry growth across Africa.
