Choplife Group Leadership Pays Condolence Visit to President Samia Suluhu

DAR ES SALAAM, Tanzania_ 14th September 2026- The leadership of Choplife Group paid a condolence visit to Her Excellency. Dr. Samia Suluhu Hassan, President of the United Republic of Tanzania, following the passing of the first Gentleman and her husband, Mzee Hafidh Ameir Hassan.
The delegation was spearheaded by Loyce Oluoch, Country Director, Tanzania, for Choplife Gaming, alongside Group Chief Operating Officer Mr. Olu Odeneye.
Together, they represented the broader continental group in conveying deep sympathies to the President, the first family, and the people of Tanzania during this period of national mourning.
Loyce Oluoch, said: “It was an honour to represent Choplife Group alongside our Group COO, Mr. Olu Odeneye, and to personally convey our deepest condolences to Her Excellency, her family, and the nation.”

The condolence visit comes from an outpouring of solidarity from local and international leaders, institutions, and organizations across the region.
Mzee Hafidh Ameir Hassan passed away on September 7, 2026, while receiving treatment at the Emilio Mzena Memorial Hospital in Zanzibar.
