Eastern Cape Gambling Board Hosts 2026 Licensee and Stakeholder Engagement Session
The Eastern Cape Gambling Board recently hosted the 2026 Licensee and Stakeholder Engagement Session at the Boardwalk to facilitate informed dialogue through open communication about the sector’s challenges and opportunities, promoting a fair approach to regulation.
Under the theme “Partnering for Regulatory Excellence, Compliance, and Responsible Gambling in a Rapidly Evolving Digital Environment,” the session brought together various industry players, including the South African Responsible Gambling Foundation (SARGF), to address current issues within the gambling landscape.
The SARGF emphasized that meaningful collaboration with industry stakeholders is essential for driving informed dialogue, shared accountability, and sustainable impact. By uniting regulators and licensees, the session aimed to foster a culture beyond mere compliance, one rooted in informed dialogue and mutual understanding.
