ISJ and INAC Partner to Protect Minors from Gaming Risks
The Institute of Gaming Supervision (ISJ) of Angola and the National Institute of Children (INAC) have joined forces to prevent and protect minors from risks associated with access to gaming activities.
A primary objective of the partnership is to strengthen prevention and awareness efforts, particularly regarding children’s and adolescents’ exposure to gaming and other circumstances that may encourage their participation in these activities.
The partnership was established during a joint working session attended by key officials from both organizations, including Paulo Kalesi, Director-General of INAC, Claúdio Paulo, Deputy Director-General of ISJ, and Afonso Silva, Head of ISJ’s Department of Supervision and Monitoring. During the meeting, the leaders identified shared priorities and laid the groundwork for ongoing inter-agency collaboration.

To coordinate their efforts to protect young people, the framework includes joint public awareness initiatives, the sharing of institutional data and insights, and coordination mechanisms to streamline protective measures.
Through this proactive approach, ISJ and INAC reaffirm their commitment to joint, preventive, and responsible action, placing the protection of children at the center of their institutional priorities.
