Gambling Authority Botswana Champions for Smarter Betting in Betway Official Launch

At the official launch of Betway Botswana, CEO Emolemo Peter Kesitilwe spotlighted the Gambling Authority’s mission to build a modern, secure, and nationally beneficial gambling industry.

With licensed operators generating over P150 million in wagers (48% of the market), the Authority is driving responsible gambling through data-led regulation, nationwide awareness campaigns, and cutting-edge compliance standards.

Through initiatives like Motshameko o Phepha, over 100,000 citizens across 191 villages have been reached, shifting national dialogue towards safe betting.
