The Malawi Gaming & Lotteries Authority (MAGLA) participated in the final day of the Umhlangano 2026 event in Ntcheu, highlighting the organization’s commitment to supporting cultural and community milestones.

Umhlangano 2026 is the annual Maseko Ngoni cultural festival held in the Ntcheu District of Malawi. The festival took place from August 31 to September 5, 2026, at the Gomani Chikuse Memorial Grounds in Nkolimbo Village, Ntcheu. This year’s theme is “Ubunye Bunamandla,” which translates to “Unity is Power.”

As part of its official mandate, the Authority actively supports both community and cultural development. Partnering with events like Umhlangano 2026 is a practical expression of this mandate, enabling the Authority to engage directly with local communities.
