NLGRB Confiscates 36 Illegal Gaming Machines in Multi-District Crackdown

The National Lotteries and Gaming Regulatory Board (NLGRB) regional enforcement team has confiscated 36 illegal gaming machines as part of Operation Mashine Haramu.

The raid was conducted in collaboration with the Uganda Police, with seizures taking place across the districts of Amuru, Amolatar, and Dokolo.

The seizures form part of broader, ongoing enforcement operations across the country to curb illegal gambling. Regulatory authorities expressed their appreciation to the whistleblowers and community leaders whose information continues to support these efforts.

To promote responsible gaming and eliminate unauthorised operations, the NLGRB is calling on the public to report illegal gaming activities and provide information about operators, manufacturers, and suppliers.

Through these collective measures, officials aim to curb unregulated operations and promote safer gambling standards throughout Uganda.
