Chop Gaming Ltd Named among Top Taxpayers by Uganda Revenue Authority

Chop Gaming Ltd, operating in Uganda as betPawa has won the runner-up Excel Award in the Taxpayers Appreciation Awards Ceremony, which was hosted by the Uganda Revenue Authority (URA).

‘Vantage Award’ and ‘Commissioner Generals Award’ winners were among the three recipients of the esteemed Excel Award.

The Taxpayers Appreciation Season honors and celebrates the top taxpayers who have continually shown a remarkable level of dedication to and compliance with tax regulations.

URA launched the Taxpayer Appreciation Season (TPAS) as a way to honor compliant taxpayers for their important contribution to revenue mobilization and to promote service excellence.

This prestigious recognition is a testament to the outstanding contribution made by our company in the field of revenue mobilization and youth empowerment in Uganda.

Mr. Allan Tumushabe, the MD of Chop Gaming in Uganda, accepted the award and stated.

Top taxpayers in Uganda have been praised by Secretary of the Treasury Ramathan Ggoobi, who claims they have made significant contributions to the nation’s transformation.

The Chairman of the Uganda Revenue Authority Board of Directors, Juma Kisaame, stated that the exceptional performance of the URA, which was 100.23% in the fiscal year 2022–2023, warrants praise for the compliant taxpayers’ role in the revolutionary revenue mobilization system.

Government representatives, business executives, and representatives of the private sector gathered at the URA Tower Nakawa for the Taxpayers Appreciation Awards Ceremony.
