ESPN BET to Launch in November
ESPN BET, the newly rebranded online sportsbook for American fans, is scheduled to launch on November 14. It will begin in 17 states, pending final approvals.
Following its launch, the new service will be available in 17 states: Arizona, Colorado, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Jersey, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Virginia, and West Virginia.
Furthermore, official odds supplied by ESPN BET are now used by ESPN in editorial and other programming.
The news was released by Penn Entertainment, the company that will run the brand, in its Q3 trading statement. Penn stated that the brand, which would take over its Barstool Sports division, could increase its long-term adjusted EBITDA potential by up to US$1.0 billion when the purchase was first announced in August.

An estimated 200 million people will be reached by the first wave of integrations that ESPN will be executing across digital and linear channels. One aspect of this will be an advertising campaign led by Scott van Pelt and Elle Duncan, anchors of SportsCenter.
Penn stated that in the next few months, it will be increasing the number of platforms and media partnerships it has with ESPN. According to the statement, the companies want to offer a media and betting experience that is tailored to national sports fans. ESPN BET Launch
ESPN boasts over 105 million unique digital visits each month, making it the leading sports media brand in the United States. Over 370 million people follow it on social media, and 25 million of them use the ESPN+ streaming service. With 41 million global followers on TikTok, ESPN is also the largest brand there.
The premiere on November 14th has been scheduled to align with the busy sports schedule during the week of Thanksgiving. Highlights include the Super Bowl rematch between the Philadelphia Eagles and the Kansas City Chiefs, which was aired on ESPN’s Monday Night Football, and NCAA college football rivalry week.
