Odibets Kenya Announces a Ksh 5 Million Sponsorship for the 3×3 Basketball Team
Odibets betting site in Kenya has proudly announced a Ksh 5 Million ($37,664) sponsorship for the Kenya Women 3X3 Basketball Team through the Odimtaani Foundation.
While speaking during the unveiling ceremony, Dedan Mungai, Odibets General Manager, said that the sponsorship package would be utilised in covering travel expenses, accommodation, participation fees, and upkeep at the 3×3 Pro League tournament in Tolouse, France. Odibets Basketball
“They’ve displayed their spirit of excellence and are already the Champions of Africa,” stated Mungai.
In addition, the GM disclosed that Odibets has a mission to keep supporting young talent in the country through the company’s Odimtaani initiative.

“Under our Odi Mtaani foundation and as mandated by BCLB, we have committed to sponsoring sports in different fields as one of our key CSR pillars. Looking back, we started with Mathare United and several teams of grassroots level soccer including Harambee stars,” he said.
In a statement to the public, Odibets have acknowledged that this sponsorship demonstrates their ongoing commitment to supporting and empowering women in sports.
This sponsorship goes beyond sports; it’s about promoting teamwork, dedication, and the empowerment of women in Kenya and beyond.
Additionally, the Kenya Women’s 3×3 basketball team recently made history by clinching the African Champions title in December 2023, defeating Egypt in the final of the FIBA 3×3 Africa Cup 2023 held in Cairo.
