Gooranah joined Sun International in October 1988 as a Count Clerk at Venda Sun. In this capacity, he successfully oversaw the national rollout of the Bally EGS system, a major upgrade to Sun International’s gaming operations.
His leadership further expanded in 2013 when he was promoted to Regional General Manager, Casinos, overseeing multiple business units such as Meropa, Windmill, and Wild Coast. He also served as an Executive Director on several casino boards.
