SuperSport Extends Broadcasting rights with La liga, EPL and Champions League

Africa’s biggest sports broadcaster, SuperSport announced the extension of broadcasting rights to the trio; La Liga, EPL, and the Champions League.

SuperSport’s dedication to delivering top-notch football experiences is clear through its recent extensions of broadcast rights. Acquiring the rights to renowned competitions such as LALIGA, the Premier League, and UEFA club tournaments cements SuperSport’s status as the premier choice for football enthusiasts. Starting with La Liga, SuperSport has renewed its exclusive rights to broadcast matches in English and local languages across various platforms. Viewers can expect comprehensive coverage of both Primera División and Segunda División matches. Additionally, renewing Premier League rights is like adding the cherry on top since the biggest league in the world has a massive viewership in Africa.

Additionally, SuperSport’s lineup has been enhanced with the renewal of its contract for UEFA club competitions. Moreover, DStv announced a rise in subscription fees as well but Multi-choice South Africa CEO Marc Jury said the entry-level package will also get a big upgrade to its sports offering. DStv Access’s sports offerings would include ESPN, La Liga, SuperSport Variety 4, and SuperSport Blitz.
