Lanre Gbajabiamila Calls For Stakeholder Collaboration in the Gaming Industry

Lanre Gbajabiamila, Director General of the National Lottery Regulatory Commission (NLRC) in Nigeria, emphasized the importance of collaboration among all industry stakeholders in the African gaming industry.

“It’s pleasing now that in 2024, the industry has seen that there has to be collaboration amongst all borders,” Lanre stated.

He highlighted the commission’s longstanding commitment to collaboration, dating back to his time as the pioneer CEO of the Lagos State Lotteries and Gaming Authority (LSLGA), where collaboration between state regulators and the commission was a focal point.

“For us, the lottery commission, what we stand for has always been collaboration,” Lanre explained.

He expressed appreciation for the industry’s recognition of the significance of collaboration in achieving growth for the gambling sector in Africa.
