LONASE and Lottotech Deepen Cooperation on Lottery Innovation

Senegal’s national lottery operator, Loterie Nationale Sénégalaise (LONASE), has held talks with Mauritius-based Lottotech to advance cooperation on lottery innovation and the continuous improvement of its services, to benefit clients and all stakeholders.

The meeting, held in Dakar on February 3, 2026, brought together senior executives from both organisations to review areas of collaboration, including technology use, product development, and responsible gaming practices.

The engagement builds on earlier exchanges between the two organisations. During previous visits to Mauritius, LONASE executives benchmarked Lottotech’s lottery systems, retail network management, and responsible gaming framework. Those sessions helped identify areas where Senegal’s lottery could benefit from practical experience rather than external consultancy.

This visit provided an opportunity to exchange perspectives on development, innovation, and the continuous improvement of our services, to benefit our clients and all stakeholders,” LONASE said in a post on its Facebook page.

LONASE Director General Toussaint Manga has described the partnership as a way to strengthen institutional capacity through shared experience, particularly in governance and innovation. According to officials, both sides agreed to continue technical exchanges and explore joint initiatives aligned with regulatory requirements in their respective markets.
