LONAGUI Hosts ACOSOF to Celebrate Partnership in Healthcare Projects in Guinea

The National Lottery of Guinea, LONAGUI, recently hosted a delegation from NGO ACOSOF to express mutual recognition of the project’s progress and to celebrate the ongoing partnership between the two organizations.

In Guinea, efforts to expand access to essential healthcare services are increasingly driven by collaborative partnerships between public institutions and non-governmental organizations. One notable example is the recent initiative led by the Loterie Nationale de Guinée (LONAGUI) in partnership with the NGO ACOSOF-Guinée.

As part of a social impact project focused on orthopedic support, the initiative on January 29, 2026, provided nine custom prosthetic limbs at the National Centre for Orthopaedics in Donka to vulnerable individuals, helping restore mobility, independence, and dignity. Beyond providing medical devices, the program also emphasizes rehabilitation and social reintegration, ensuring beneficiaries receive holistic care and support.

The recent visit by the NGO ACOSOF delegation served as a milestone for the orthopedic prosthesis donation project. During the meeting, the delegation expressed deep gratitude to LONAGUI’s General Management for its decisive involvement in ensuring the project’s success. This collaboration highlights a shared dedication to improving the lives of individuals in need of orthopedic support.

As part of the official proceedings, ACOSOF presented activity reports detailing the project’s developments and awarded a commendation to LONAGUI. This award recognizes LONAGUI’s constant commitment to social and solidarity actions, positioning the organization as a key driver of corporate social responsibility (CSR) in the region.

This partnership reflects a broader shift toward corporate social responsibility (CSR), where organizations extend their impact beyond their core operations to address pressing societal needs. Lonagui stated that, “Through this partnership, we reaffirm our determination to turn its actions into tangible impacts, serving the well-being of the population.”
