NLA Makes Significant Progress in Montserrado Food Distribution Program Ahead of Independence Day

Following the recent launch of its charitable initiative, the National Lottery Authority (NLA) is making significant progress in distributing essential supplies throughout Montserrado County.

As the July 26 Independence Day celebrations approach, the NLA has intensified its efforts to reach every targeted beneficiary with packages of food and non-food items.

The NLA reports that it is currently supplying assorted essentials to approximately 180 institutions. This large-scale operation is designed to support and feed more than 10,000 individuals across the county for the holiday. The distribution is specifically reaching orphanages, old folks’ homes, and organizations for persons living with disabilities (PWDs). Furthermore, scientific and public welfare institutions are also receiving a huge assortment of these supplies.

Led by Director General Hon. Peter L. Solo and his team, the NLA is successfully touching the lives of the needy during this festive period. The impact of this distribution is already visible, with children and the elderly across the county expressing happiness and gratitude for the support. This ongoing humanitarian drive continues to operate under the agency’s core promise, “At NLA, Because We Care, They Smile.”
