Monday, 1st July 2024 – iGaming AFRIKA, a leading igaming publisher for the gaming industry in Africa, and Women in Gaming Africa, a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting women’s participation in the gaming industry, are proud to announce their joint partnership to recognize the Top 50 Most Influential Women in the Gaming Industry in Africa.
The mission of this recognition is to acknowledge and celebrate the women who are playing a vital role in shaping the iGaming industry in Africa. According to Lois Bright, Founder of Women in Gaming Africa

The selection process will be conducted by a panel of judges comprising industry professionals from across Africa, being led by Women in Gaming Africa Partners, All-in Diversity Project Founders, Kelly Kehn & Christina Thakor-Rankin. The list will be released during the month of August 2024, coinciding with Women’s Month in South Africa. This will be followed by the release of another list of 50 influential men in the gaming industry in Africa in December 2024.
The combined list will feature 100 of the most influential people in the gaming industry in Africa, comprising 50 men and 50 women. This annual recognition will be released every August and December, marking the beginning of a momentous celebration to acknowledge the faces driving the gaming agenda in Africa.
“We believe that this partnership will not only elevate the visibility of women in the gaming industry but also inspire a new generation of female leaders and professionals,” added Maangi.
The judges’ panel will comprise experts from different countries across Africa, with both male and female judges sitting on both male and female draws to ensure credibility and fairness.
