LatAm-based payment processor PayRetailers has announced plans to expand its operations into Africa, with plans to activate its payment processing functions for customers in Tanzania, Rwanda, Uganda, and Zambia.
As of May, operators in the four named nations will be able to utilize PayRetailers for their online users, deepening the organization’s footprint and offering the potential for expansion within its partnership portfolio.
“We recognize the immense potential and significance of venturing into these dynamic markets. Each new addition to our market coverage is a gateway into untapped opportunities and strengthened partnerships, ensuring our sustained growth and global relevance,” said PayRetailers CEO Juan Pablo Jutgla. “Our imminent expansion into additional countries across West, North, and Southern Africa underscores our commitment to empowering our clients and connecting them with diverse consumer bases across the continent.”

The company’s expansion into Africa is not the only recent development in the region, with 3 Oaks Gaming partnering with Supabets in South Africa earlier this month.
Additionally, Super Group partly attributed its strong Q1 results to its growing operations in Africa, with the operator revealing a revenue rise of 12% last week.
The expansion into Africa marks a significant milestone for PayRetailers, as it continues to solidify its position as a leading payment processor in the region.
