UBA Ghana to Host Country’s First Fintech Conference This Thursday.

UBA Ghana is set to host Ghana’s first Fintech Conference 2026 on Thursday, June 18, 2026, in Accra. The conference is themed “Banking Beyond Borders: Driving Innovation Through Fintech Partnerships.”

Banking Beyond Boarders will bring together industry leaders, fintech innovators, regulators, policymakers, banking professionals, and other key stakeholders in the fintech sphere in Africa. Key discussion points will revolve around strategic partnerships and technological innovation.

Key Discussion Points at the Summit This Thursday!

The conference will serve as a platform for insightful keynote and panel discussions. They will focus on various topics including: Emerging fintech trends and digital transformation. Financial inclusion, collaborative opportunities and regulatory developments as well. Finally the role of strategic partnerships in shaping the future of financial services across Africa.

The keynote address will be delivered by Dr. Gbadebo Adenrele, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of United Capital Plc. He will share insights on the evolution of fintech and the opportunities they present. As well as the critical role partnerships play in driving sustainable growth within the financial sector.

Speaking ahead of the event, Henry Nii Dottey, the Regional Head of Brand, Marketing & Corporate Communications for UBA Anglophone West Africa emphasized the bank’s commitment to fostering innovation and industry collaboration.
