CANAL+ has secured exclusive rights in all languages to broadcast the UEFA Champions League, UEFA Europa League and UEFA Conference League across more than 40 Sub-Saharan African countries.
The four-season partnership begins in mid-2027 and runs until 2031, with coverage divided between SuperSport and CANAL+ Sport according to language market. SuperSport will retain exclusive coverage of the three competitions in English- and Portuguese-speaking Africa. In French-speaking markets, CANAL+ Sport will bring back full Champions League coverage and show the Europa League and Conference League exclusively in French for the first time.

The competitions will strengthen a football schedule that already includes the Premier League, LALIGA EA SPORTS, Ligue 1 and South Africa’s Betway Premiership. CANAL+ and SuperSport also carry the TotalEnergies Women’s Africa Cup of Nations Morocco 2026.
