Why RavenTrack Is Becoming a Go-To Affiliate Platform in African Markets

As affiliate marketing continues to gain momentum across the African continent, companies that understand both the regional nuances and the global best practices are rising to the forefront. One such company is RavenTrack, an affiliate tracking platform making waves with its tailored approach to Africa’s fast-evolving online marketing environment.

At the recent SiGMA Africa 2025 summit, Aron Myerthall, Sales Manager at RavenTrack, and Kai Manyeh, Project Account Manager, spoke to iGaming AFRIKA and shared their experiences, insights, and the company’s ambitious roadmap for growth across Africa.

RavenTrack is a cutting-edge affiliate tracking platform that specializes in helping brands understand how customers and players reach their services. “We’re an affiliate tracking platform. So what our platform does, it tracks how players get to brands and operators. So that’s what pretty much what we do here,” said Aron Myerthall.

Both Aron and Kai agree that Africa presents enormous opportunities, but with specific challenges. “Africa has traditionally been a retail-oriented market,” said Aron. “Which means everything’s on the ground. So moving to online is new. It has its challenges. But what we’re doing here is trying to make that easier for them and really hold people’s hand and give them that journey, which they want and maybe other companies don’t offer them.”

But in Africa, this task involves more than digital tools and dashboards. Affiliate marketing is still heavily influenced by offline behaviors and face-to-face engagement. One of the standout challenges is the difficulty of tracking customer activity in regions where digital penetration varies and many interactions still happen offline. “What make our platform so different and unique is that we do offline tracking. So people who work on the streets, who go to, like, kiosks or, on taxi ramps, we’re able to track all of them players by using, like, promo code features whereas, like, instead of giving you a tracker link, they can use just your promo code,” Kai explained. ”That way, we’re able to track players. And also just to help, people who are starting the online journey of affiliate marketing.

More than just a technology provider, RavenTrack positions itself as a partner in growth for African businesses. A key differentiator is its exceptional customer service, which both Aron and Kai emphasized as a cornerstone of their model. “One of our greatest stats is that we’ve got a 96% retention rate. Which basically means we do everything we can to please the client. But as a further proof to that, we have a 70%, referral rate. So existing clients and affiliates and everyone says how good we are, and they recommend us. And that’s how we grow on our customer service.”

Beyond service, RavenTrack acts as an educational and strategic guide for its partners. “I think it’s important for people to know that RavenTrack has taken Africa very seriously, and we’re trying to grow, as much as we can here. But we’re doing it in the right way. We’re listening to what the brands have to say. We’re listening to what the affiliates have to say. And we’re not trying to show any arrogance and say we know better. What we’re actually doing here is trying to learn, develop, and optimize everyone’s, traffic, which is what it’s all about, ”Aron added.

”You know, if we can have that relationship, give the client what they want, we can certainly grow through through just being here and being popular and providing the technology that’s, available that’s out there for everyone.”

Kai echoed this sentiment by saying “I think helping them through that journey and to see how they could grow from the first day they’re walk into Raven, how they get introduced into affiliates, or show them exactly how the tracking platform, how the people will be able to pull all of the marketing material within the platform. Basically, pretty much like your one stop shop for everything that you need to grow your business.”
