The Gaming Board of Tanzania (GBT) announced with deep sadness the passing of their esteemed staff member, Mr. Donatus John Nzyela, who served as an Accountant.
They stated that Mr. Nzyela “peacefully passed away on Tuesday, 3rd June 2025, in the morning.” The GBT further explained that his body was transported on Wednesday, 4th June 2025, to Ifakara, Morogoro, and later to Mbozi, Songwe, for burial.

The organization extended heartfelt condolences, saying, “We extend our heartfelt condolences to his family, relatives, friends, and all colleagues.”
They also expressed their grief over the loss of a valued team member. Quoting a biblical phrase, the GBT noted, “As the Lord gave, and the Lord has taken away; blessed be the name of the Lord.”
The board also wished for his soul to rest in eternal peace.
