Linebet’s World Cup Fan Zones Drive Digital Engagement

During the 2026 World Cup, Linebet brought the excitement of the tournament beyond the screen, creating a series of dedicated fan zones across Benin, Ghana, the Democratic Republic of the Congo and Zambia. Built around live match screenings, the activations combined football, entertainment, and direct product engagement to create an offline experience that naturally connected fans with the Linebet platform.

The fan zones offered more than match viewing. Visitors could take part in football quizzes, competitions, and giveaways, with Linebet-branded merchandise awarded to participants and winners.

A dedicated promo team supported the experience by engaging with visitors, introducing them to Linebet and providing hands-on assistance with the app. Team members answered questions, guided users through the product and helped with registration directly at the venues, creating a straightforward transition from offline engagement to the digital platform.

Across the tournament, the fan zones attracted around 80,000 visitors and generated more than 28,000 direct interactions with the promotional teams. Around 21,000 visitors proceeded to the app or landing page, with 16,400 completing registration and approximately 3,900 making a first deposit.

The campaign demonstrated how live sporting experiences can be integrated with digital product engagement. By combining match screenings, interactive activities, and on-site assistance, Linebet created an activation that connected the energy of the World Cup with a direct and accessible product experience.
