NLGRB Visits Nkoma Market in Mbale to Educate About Responsible Gambling Practices

The National Lotteries and Gaming Regulatory Board (NLGRB), Uganda recently held a community outreach event at Nkoma Market in Mbale to sensitize the public about responsible gaming practices.
The initiative, themed ‘Play Responsibly,’ aims to provide direct engagement with community members, offering a platform to address concerns and queries regarding how about how to play betting games safely and responsibly.
During the event, the board provided free counseling and advisory services to attendees. These services are part of the board’s effort to offer practical support and guidance as the public navigates the gaming industry.

This engagement in Mbale is part of an ongoing series of outreach activities. Following the successful event at Nkoma Market, the NLGRB will proceed to its next stops for the sensitization campaign, which are planned to take place in Mbarara and Gulu.
