Betsson Secures Licenses in Peru, Consolidating Position in Latin American Market”

Betsson AB, a leading gaming and betting company, is pleased to announce that its subsidiary has obtained its first local licenses for the newly regulated market in Peru.

The licenses will allow the company to operate online casino and sports betting services under its Betsson and Betsafe brands. Additionally, licenses for its Inkabet brand are expected to be obtained shortly.

This milestone marks a significant step forward for Betsson’s expansion in Latin America, which began in 2008.

The company has since established itself as the most recognized sports betting brand in Peru, with the launch of its Betsafe brand in 2019 and the acquisition of Inkabet, a Peruvian-facing sports betting and online casino business, two years later.

Betsson already holds licenses in two other key markets in the region, Colombia and Argentina, including licenses in Buenos Aires City, Buenos Aires province, and Córdoba.
