Zimbabwe Arts Council and Lotteries Board Launch Responsible Gambling Skit Challenge

The National Arts Council of Zimbabwe (NACZ) has partnered with the Lotteries and Gaming Board to launch a skit challenge aimed at promoting responsible gambling.
The challenge dubbed “Responsible Gambling Skit Challenge,” calls on content creators and skit makers to produce one- to two-minute videos under the theme “Responsible Gambling – Know When to Stop!” The campaign uses short-form content to encourage responsible betting and highlight the importance of setting personal limits.

Entrants are required to share their skits on Facebook and Instagram, tag @NACZ and @Lotteries and Gaming Board, and use the hashtag #ResponsibleGambling2026.
The skits must promote four key messages
- Knowing when to stop
- Gambling for fun rather than income
- Setting personal limits
- Helping friends gamble responsibly
At its core, the campaign seeks to remind the public that gambling should be approached with caution and self-control. It is not a means of securing guaranteed income, recovering financial losses or addressing financial difficulties.
The competition closes on 31 August, with the skit recording the highest views and engagement set to win $1,000.
