Nairobi, Kenya – iGaming AFRIKA 2026 closed on a glittering high note, as the continent’s most influential gaming operators, suppliers, regulators, and innovators gathered for a landmark Awards Ceremony at Nairobi’s Hyatt Regency Hotel. The evening honoured excellence across Africa’s fast-maturing gaming industry, with 25 awards presented across categories spanning sports betting, casino gaming, responsible gambling, affiliate marketing, payments, and corporate social responsibility.
Hosted with effortless charm and energy by celebrated Kenyan media personalities Maina Chege and Nyawira Maina, the iGaming AFRIKA Awards Ceremony was the centrepiece of the evening glittering occasion that blended the excitement of a world-class industry event with the warmth of an African celebration. From rising stars to established titans, the awards painted a comprehensive picture of a continent whose gaming industry is maturing at speed and on its own terms.
Opening the evening ceremony, iGaming AFRIKA’s CEO/Founder Jeremiah Maangi heartily welcomed all the guests acknowledging that all those shortlisted were winners. “You are all winners; we just had to choose one winner per category. Congratulations to all the different teams receiving awards tonight,” Mr. Maangi remarked.
