iGaming AFRIKA Partners with Choplife Gaming to Fund Sanitation Facilities in Informal Settlements across Africa
Nairobi, Kenya – iGaming AFRIKA Summit 2026 marked a historic milestone in corporate social responsibility as the Goan Gymkhana’s grounds played host to the inaugural iGaming AFRIKA Charity Football Tournament in conjunction with Choplife Gaming. The tournament aims to raise USD 10,000 to fund the construction of sanitation facilities in informal settlements across Africa.
Six teams competed across the afternoon in a spirited contest that blended grassroots football talent with iGaming industry participants, including a squad from Mayfair Casino Nairobi and Harambee Stars former players. The winning team walked away with a cash prize of USD 1,000, with the runners-up claiming USD 500 but the true winner of the day was the community.
“Football has always been the language of the streets. It belongs to the young people who grow up with a ball at their feet and a dream in their hearts. Today was about honouring that. Every shilling raised here goes directly to improve the lives of the very communities that produce this talent. We at iGaming AFRIKA believe that if we are going to build an industry on this continent, we must build the communities around us at the same time.
