Mr. Eazi’s Choplife Gaming Upgrades the Bronx Gym to New Standards

The Bronx Boxing Gym, is known for producing some of the best boxers in the country. Choplife undertook the complete refurbishment and modernization of the facility, adding state-of-the-art equipment to elevate it to international standards.
The Gym has been a training ground for many professional boxers in Ghana, including Isaac “Royal Storm” Dogboe. However, due to lack of funding, the gym was in a state of disrepair and needed renovation.
The facility was completely renovated and modernized by Choplife, which also added cutting-edge equipment to raise the facility to international standards.
The renovated gym was officially unveiled at a commissioning ceremony on Friday, September 15, 2023, during which the facility’s management received the keys to the upgraded gym venue.
The gym is now fully equipped and operational, providing a safe and conducive environment for boxers to train and hone their skills.
Mr. Eazi, commonly referred to as Oluwatosin Oluwole Ajibade, emphasized his belief in the enormous ability that Africa holds throughout the ceremony.
Mr. Eazi is known for his philanthropic efforts in Ghana and across Africa, and this contribution to the Bronx Boxing Gym is just one of many ways he is giving back to his community.
He pointed out that opportunities and development programs are what the continent really needs.
In Africa, we are so talented, we don’t lack talent, we lack opportunity, and development initiatives. Africa has been able to produce world champions against all odds. It is our duty at Choplife games to support African talents be it music, arts or sports. Our prayer is that this will be the beginning of many such initiatives. Through Choplife we will be able to make investments in the society.
Mr. Eazi said
Carl Lokko, the owner and head instructor of the Bronx Boxing Gym, expressed his gratitude and promised to use the facility’s potential to produce future world champions.
Expect champions from here. We have two African Champions, Ghanaian champions, and world- rated boxers. So we are looking forward to higher heights to give Ghana a world champion.”

Sammy Anim Addo, the boxing manager of BabyJet Promotions, also praised Mr. Eazi for his significant contributions to Ghanaian sports, including the Betpawa Premier League.

A number of notable guests attended the ceremony, including Joseph Agbeko, Emmanuel Gameboy Tagoe, Sharaf Mahama, the son of a previous Ghanaian president, and former world champions.
Richard Commey, a former world champion, had his training in the Bronx Boxing Gym, which also grew the careers of Duke Micah and Frederick Lawson.
At the moment, the gym is home to boxers like Sheriff Quaye, the WBO Africa champion, and John Laryea, who is regarded as one of the top 20 Featherweight boxers in the world.
Fast-rising Ghanaian architect Wisdom Afedzi took on the task of designing the freshly remodeled gym. Additionally, Michael Blackson’s educational facility in Agona, Central Region, was designed by the renowned architect. Choplife Gaming Bronx Gym Mr. Eazi
