Bet9ja Extends Sponsorship Deal as Remo Stars Gear Up for CAF Champions League

Nigeria.- Bet9ja has extended its sponsorship deal with Remo Stars Football Club as the Nigeria Premier Football League champions prepare for their debut appearance in the CAF Champions League. The extension was announced at the club’s home ground, the Ikenne Township Stadium.

Remo Stars earned their spot in continental competition after clinching their first-ever NPFL title last season — a historic triumph that also made them the first team from Ogun State to win the trophy. The upcoming campaign will be the club’s first real test against Africa’s football elite, and the continued partnership with Bet9ja is expected to provide vital support for that challenge.

Speaking on behalf of Bet9ja, Senior Marketing Manager, Omene Osuya said the sponsorship underscores the company’s broader dedication to advancing Nigerian football. He stated: “Our commitment is simple: we want to see Nigerian football excel on the biggest stage. Partnering with Remo Stars is about giving Nigerian talent the backing to compete, win and inspire the next generation.”

Remo Stars’ Chief Executive Officer, Adedoyin Ogungbefun, expressed appreciation for the continued support, emphasizing that the partnership offers more than financial benefits. He said: “Bet9ja’s investment goes beyond sponsorship. It strengthens our ambition to not just represent Nigeria, but to challenge for honours in Africa and build a sustainable model for football development.”

In recent months, Bet9ja has expanded its involvement in the sports sector, including appointing boxing prospect Moses Itauma as a brand ambassador. The renewed partnership with Remo Stars aligns with this strategy and reaffirms the company’s commitment to promoting sports development in Nigeria.
